CMO | VP Marketing | B2B SaaS Growth, GTM & Pipeline | AI-Enabled Marketing | Revenue & Team Leadership
The theme of my career has basically been: figure it out, build a great team, and get results.
I’m at my best when there isn’t a finished playbook yet; building the team, creating the operating structure, getting close to customers, and turning strategy into measurable growth.
Most recently, I joined Virtuous as an individual contributor in product marketing with no traditional B2B SaaS background. Within six months, I was leading Marketing, and within nine months I was promoted to VP. I ultimately led a 24-person Marketing + SDR organization responsible for $25M+ in annual company-wide pipeline.
Before SaaS, I spent 10+ years at JVMI, progressing from an individual contributor with no direct reports to Chief Marketing & Development Officer, where I owned $30M+ in annual revenue, a $10M+ budget, five departments, and 30+ people. Along the way, we grew recurring donors from ~4,000 to ~20,000, with recurring giving ultimately representing 25%+ of revenue.
The work I’m proudest of is building highly effective teams with high expectations, clear accountability, respect, and collaboration. I’ve hired and developed leaders, promoted people into bigger roles, and had former team members choose to work with me again at another company.
I also love leading change. At JVMI, I led the selection and implementation of a new enterprise CRM including the change management required to bring nearly an entire organization through the transition. At Virtuous, I led Marketing through AI adoption, translating AI into practical use cases for individual roles while building AI-powered workflows for reporting, customer intelligence, product marketing, and creative.
And I like being close to the market. I’ve been a company spokesperson, conference speaker, podcast host, event host, and trusted point of connection for customers. At Virtuous, that was especially meaningful because before marketing the technology, I had actually been the executive buyer of it.
I’m most energized by companies entering their next stage; where there’s real opportunity, some ambiguity, and a need for someone who can build the team and the playbook while staying close to customers and the work.EXPERIENCE
